​Senior App Developer Full Time, Davao City in Davao City, Davao Region

WHO WE ARE:
We are an Australian based tech start-up having been around for 3+ years. We have been featured in several key Australian business and mainstream media with our app and website concept that deals in the mobile marketing and mobile payment space. Over the last 3 years we have always contracted our software development to external companies, however are now looking to build our own offshore development team and bring our software development in-house. As such we’re setting up a new offshore company based in the Philippines under our existing company that will be able to both do our ongoing development, but also be able to function independently as its own software development and digital marketing company. Selling its services both locally in the Philippines and in Australia.
THE ROLE:
You will be on the mobile app development team working on a wide range of projects as well as providing guidance and mentorship for the more junior developers.
WHAT’S REQUIRED:
-Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
-Demonstrated experience of Web strategy, information Architecture and usability design
-Strong javascript and experience of at least one of the frameworks such as emberJS, canJS, jQuery, AngularJS
-Demonstrated portfolio of work using mobile front css frameworks such as Grid, Pure, Bootstrap and Foundation
-Front end development experience using HTML5, Css3 and SCSS process
-Experience of mobile development and deployment using either iOS 7.1 or Android SDK 15+
-Experience with hybrid app development using PhoneGap / Cordova and understand the deployment and publishing process,
-Social media and social applications experience highly desirable
-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
-Relevant tertiary qualifications in Design, Technology preferred
